Ima Design offers a wide range of unique hand knotted, hanbel or bo charwit rugs as well as cushions, floor pillows and bed throws.
Every product that we produce are designed by IMA and they are all created by passionate and gifted Moroccan artisans. Every product is unique in style and craft which means that there is no other like it.
The story behind the collections
Almis was the very first collection from Ima and it involved working with a group of talented artisan as well as two designers who helped us to create our collection. The collection consisted of 100% wool hand-knotted rugs as well as hand flat woven hanbels and bo charwit. This also included 100% wool cushions and bed throws/rugs..
The collection was aimed to bring together the designers and artisans. The collection involved three themes and three colour schemes
The first theme was the authentic theme which took inspiration from traditional Morrocan patterns as well as their inspirational style and warm colours.
Theme two was a minimalistic theme and included minimalistic shapes and pastel colours.
The third theme brought together vibrant colours and patterns.
